Boi: The Legacy

there will come a time when this chapter of my life is nil, but until that day I boldly take what happens to me and sap for everything it is worth.

Miami

From the moment the Nissan required to be parallel parked I had realized that the next day was going to be different.

Miami is unlike any other place I have come across thus far in my life.  Latino’s rule the streets, rendering everyone else a minority.  Ironically though the entire city is fueled by high end and expensive lifestyles.  Lamborghinis, Mercedes, Porsche, and Bentlee’s are as common as Honda’s back home.  My black nissan maxima stands out like a sore thumb on this classy backdrop.  We arrived in South Beach around 10 pm on a friday night.  The entire strip was mad with activity.  The common thing to do (from my garnered 1o minutes of south beach experience) was to roll the windows down and blare music loudly with an arm out the window and a classy lady in the passenger seat.  Joe sat in the passenger seat and my driver side window doesn’t go down so I was left out of this Ocean Dr pastime.  It took little over 10 minutes to travel a mile to the hotel, Hilton Grand Vacations Club.  By far I believe this is the nicest hotel I have ever slept in, compliments of Alyssa’s uncle.  After a confusing exchange with the spanish speaking valet, we finally got our bags and checked in.  The room was filled with drinks and food (to be invoiced) a bed, couch, two televisions, a couple of pocket doors and long, skinny bathroom.  Setting down my bag (more accurately described as a grocery bag, plastic) we discussed our plans for the late evening.
